How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers may let you enable a "Do Not Track" feature that sends signals to the website you visit, indicating you do not want your online activities to be tracked or engaged in other types of data collection. These are segments of computer code that communicate with a website similarly to cookies. However, this is different than blocking or deleting cookies, as browsers with a “Do Not Track” feature enabled may still accept cookies. This Website does not currently honor "Do Not Track" requests. If we do so in the future, we will describe how in this Privacy Policy.
Data Security and Integrity
AHIP uses commercially reasonable safeguards and technology that complies in all material respects with applicable laws and industry standards to guard personal information against loss, destruction, misuse, improper disclosure, and unauthorized access or modification. We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the personal information we collect is not altered in any way, or reprocessed in a way that makes it incompatible with the purpose for which it was originally collected. Please understand, however, that no transmission of data over the internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
Disclosure of Information
In the course of making the Website available to you, we may delegate our authority to collect, use or disclose your information to third party subcontractors. Third party subcontractors may include web hosts, delivery and logistics providers and social network integrators. If we transfer any personal information to a third party subcontractor, we will provide the subcontractors only with the information needed to perform the subcontracted service in accordance with the purposes set out under the “How We Use Information” section above, and will use appropriate contractual or other means to provide a comparable level of protection while the information is being used by them.
We may make your information available to AHIP’s subsidiaries, parent companies, published partners, and affiliates. (c) protect and defend our rights or property, the Website, or our investors or Website users; and (d) act under emergency circumstances to protect the personal safety of AHIP, our affiliates, agents, investors, or the users of the Website or the public.
We may disclose aggregated information, that is, general statistics that do not include personal information with a limited number of third parties.
Retention of Information
Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Under some circumstances we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you. We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent.
